Although Zepco has run various types of products over
the years, it seems we have concentrated on the
pharmaceutical industry for some time now.
Back in
the 1960’s, at the request of a large biological
company, we made our first I.V. type hanger, which was
used in the military as a standard issue. It was made
from cotton “tape” and sewn together to form a hanger
capable to hang a bottle upside down. Different
companies may have received the “army” contract, but
we were the ones supplying the same product to all of
them.
As pharmaceutical companies grew, there became a need
for products that would be reliable, economical and
handle the growing volume in the industry. Once
again, we stepped up to supply a polyethylene type
product that would fill all those requirements. This
product is called the Poly Sling, and is still
manufactured today. All our products are custom made
to the exact size required. The Poly Sling has been
as small as 20ml and as large as 1000ml.
When Zepco added injection-molding capabilities to its services, we invented the Ring Sling. This product offers further precision, which is not possible with the Poly Sling, all at a reasonable price.
Zepco continually searches for new methods in hanging
bottles, and currently is exploring another original
design. We have served companies, worldwide, with
usage as small as one thousand slings per year and as
high as over one million.
